This tool allows us to follow actions of users after they are redirected to a provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This enables us to record efficiency of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The collected data remains anonymous. This means that we cannot see the personal data of any individual user. However, the collected data is saved by Facebook. Where is my personal data stored?

The information we collect is stored in a secure PCI compliant cloud-based infrastructure that can only be accessed via Two Factor Authentication. Arts Projects Australia has implemented a data handling policy with all members of staff who access the personal information held in the database as well as in emails or personal information taken over the phone. This data is regularly cleaned and maintained via internal data cleaning procedures that remove duplicate records, format addresses and ensure the general quality of the data in the database.

Our technology infrastructure may make use of cloud infrastructure or servers located outside Australia however at this time, our data is stored within Australia. Apart from this, we have not/do not transfer personal information offshore.


What are my rights and choices?

You have rights over how your personal information is stored, processed and used. Among other things, you can choose whether to receive marketing from us and opt out of any of our mailing lists. You have the right to access the data we have about you and you can request that your information be erased or restricted from further use or amend and update any information you’ve provided.
